about the author

Alison Andrews was born in Nottingham where she lives with her husband and two young sons. She is the author of The Very Friendly Veg which she was inspired to write following her own son’s fussy food journey. Alison loves to write in rhyme and before writing her first book she started writing poems; the first one back in 2020 about her maternity leave during the ‘Covid era’. Alison loves everything creative, from studying interior design to getting creative at the sewing machine, however her passion resides in writing where she continues to write poems and has a desire to write more books.
